Sorry!

Hello,

I am so sorry I have not blogged in so long! I have been so overwhelmed with summer that I haven't been able to sit down and blog. When I have time I will right up events that have happened over this summer, making it the best summer and the most emotional. I love you all.

A Hard Day of Labor

So today my doe Rue delivered a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately that beautiful baby was a still born. Rue went into early labor at 7:00 this morning (Mountain Time). Her water broke at 1:06 p.m. and after much struggle her baby finally came out at 3:00 p.m. So it was a very hard day. Thankfully Rue the mama is doing okay. She still hasn't delivered  the after birth which is very important. I just hope that she will be okay. I am sorry to bring this sad news to you but I thought you might want to know.

Kidding Season is Here!

     Any day now baby goats will be coming! I am so excited we have two does (mama goats) that will be kidding (having there babies) in day now. There is so much to prepare for still, but it will be such an exciting time for us on the farm. Here are the babies from last year.

My Book

I am writing a book! 

For many years I have wanted to write a book and the story was never write and when I did start I kind of hit a dead end every time. So now the time is right and I am going to write. My book is going to be for women. This book is going to talk about how we as women see are selves, and how it is usually not how we should see our selves. The main subject is beauty, and all the things that encompass around beauty. If you could please email me with stories you would like to share on how you have struggled with self image or if you are struggling with it right now please I would love to hear your story. SB 175

PLEASE PRAY!

"Everything the pro-life movement has worked toward over the past decades is in jeopardy. On Thursday, Senate Bill 175 will be debated. It is titled: SB 175 - Concerning Freedom From Government Interference in an Individual's Reproductive Health Decisions. This bill is an attempt by legislators in Colorado to enshrine FOCA (Freedom of Choice Act) legislation into Colorado law. This is a radical bill that would create a "fundamental right" to abortion, defined as "reproductive healthcare." It would prevent any new regulation or policy that "denies or interferes with an individual's reproductive health care decision." SB175 will eliminate any current regulation or policy, such as parental notification laws, parental involvement laws, laws promoting maternal health, government programs that promote childbirth, conscience protections laws, regulation of abortion doctors, laws regulating school health clinics, laws concerning abstinence education, laws affecting pregnancy centers and so on. SB 175 will be heard in the Senate Health and Human Services on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 352." This is a note from the Archdiocese of Denver. Baby Goats! They are coming soon. Preparing the barn, the garage and the house it's super stressful. But it is so rewarding in the end so yay baby goats come soon please!

p.s. We are also preparing for baby chicks and I can't wait!
